Living with psoriatic disease\u00a0<\/span>can leave you with<\/span>\u00a0questions that do not fit neatly into one appointment. How does psoriasis\u00a0<\/span>affect overall health?<\/span>\u00a0What\u00a0<\/span>support is available<\/span>\u00a0for children and youth? Why\u00a0<\/span>does<\/span>\u00a0access to care\u00a0<\/span>vary across Canada? At this Forum,\u00a0<\/span>patients<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0caregivers\u00a0<\/span>and others in the community can explore these questions, hear<\/span>\u00a0practical\u00a0<\/span>insights<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>connect with\u00a0<\/span>people who understand<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

On Saturday, October 24,\u00a0<\/span>join\u00a0<\/span>Psoriasis Canada\u00a0<\/span>for our first National Community Psoriatic Disease Education Forum. People<\/span>\u00a0living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis\u00a0<\/span>will come\u00a0<\/span>together with caregivers, clinicians, researchers, advocates, students and community voices<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>This free hybrid event\u00a0<\/span>offers<\/span>\u00a0accessible<\/span>\u00a0learning,<\/span>\u00a0honest conversation and\u00a0<\/span>meaningful<\/span>\u00a0connections\u00a0<\/span>to<\/span>\u00a0help\u00a0<\/span>participants<\/span>\u00a0feel\u00a0<\/span>better\u00a0<\/span>informed and supported.<\/span><\/p>

At Psoriasis Canada, we believe trusted medical information and lived experience belong in the same room. Patients and caregivers are not at the edge of this conversation. Their experiences help shape the questions we ask, the priorities we set and the systems that need attention.<\/span><\/p>

The Forum will create a welcoming national space to hear evidence from experts, learn from people with first-hand experience and explore the broader questions that affect everyday care. It is not a substitute for personal medical advice, but it can help participants better understand the landscape of psoriatic disease and feel more prepared for future conversations with their own healthcare teams.<\/span><\/p>
